Set in the beautiful grounds of Chatsworth Estate with some lovely walks and the deer watching. House and formal gardens open to the public. Farm shop and the village of Baslow nearby for some shopping.

Lovely rally venue set with three fishing lakes which are well stocked with a variety of fish. Fishing match will take place on Saturday or fishing for pleasure available.

If you fancy venturing a little further afield then Rufford Abbey and Clumber park are a short drive away.
Southwell Race course and Southwell Golf Club sit together 2 miles from Southwell town centre and 5 miles from the market town of Newark. Southwell is steeped in history with the stunning Southwell Minister and narrow high street with shops, market and pubs worth a visit.
New venue in village six miles south-east of Retford. Subject to current COVID-19 guidelines Family walk on the Saturday morning with pub stop on route. Join us in the Coleman Saturday evening for a homemade pudding evening. Perhaps a sherry trifle would temp you or maybe you love to indulge in everything chocolate or a good old-fashioned apple crumble. There will be something to temp everyone’s taste. Don’t forget to bring your favourite tipple. We may play some games during the evening.

COVID 19: All persons attending the rally will be required to follow government and site rules on social distancing and any other restrictions that are in place at the time of, andfor the duration of the rally. Please note: Due to the uncertainty around Covid 19 restrictions, some facilities may not be available or restricted at as a result of Government advice and site management decisions. This is out of our control but such decisions are
not taken lightly and will be to ensure the safety of everyone on the rally and the Holiday Park. Therefore, ALL UNITS BOOKING ON THE RALLY MUST BE SELF SUFFICIENT (you must have your own toilet, shower/washing and washing up facilities). Site rules do not permit the use of Gazebos, Coleman’s or other party tents on the rally.
A non-refundable deposit of £60 per booking will be required upon confirmation of the rally price. Payment and
balance details will be provided at that time.
*We expect the cost to be similar to last year’s price of around £530 however, once the cost of the rally is confirmed,
if you are unhappy with the price you will have the option to cancel your booking prior to the deposit being paid.
The rally is being held on the Beach Field at Harlyn Sands Holiday Park, a commercial site situated 3 miles west of Padstow and 14 miles north of Newquay. The site has direct access to a golden sandy beach and the coastal path (for those of you who enjoy walking) and there are several other beaches in the area with some in short walking distance of the site (Boobys Bay and Constantine Bay are just two of them). The site and the urrounding area has much to offer, therefore the theme of the rally is ‘free & easy’, giving you plenty of time to enjoy your holiday.
Dogs are permitted on the site and beach (the site does not permit any other pets).
An action packed weekend for all the family planned in the National Trust owned Clumber Park with further details to be shared nearer the date.
From the Gothic styled chapel to the Walled Kitchen Garden there is plenty to explore. Hiring of cycles is available next to the courtyard of shop, garden centre and café.
From Nottingham join the M1 at Junction 26 and continue the M1 to Junction 30. Take the 3rd exit onto the A616 and at the next roundabout take the A619 Chesterfield Road. Continue on the A619 for approx. 5 miles then turn right onto Shireoaks Road. Site in on the right, follow Centre signs
Rally field next to Chesterfield Canal with walks along the towpath and around the old Shireoaks pit site now a country park. Places to visit Robinsons Caravans 2 miles, Roche Abbey 11 miles, and Bolsover Castle 13 miles.

From Bingham roundabout take the A46 to Newark. Continue on A46 dual carriageway around Newark to the roundabout with the A6065 signed South and North Muskham. Continue on A6065 until road meets the A1 roundabout. Proceed under bridge, turn 1st left signed North Muskham. Site on left in approx. 100 yards.
Rally launch to be held on Saturday at 11am with Saturday evening social to be held including meal and live act (FREE to all Nottinghamshire Centre members) prior to the Nottinghamshire Centre AGM to be held Sunday 26th September 2021 at 11am PROMPT. Please ensure you have registered online with the Notts Centre through the CAMC website.
The A1 will be the only entry and exit point, and it will be clearly signed from both north and south. If you are coming from the South, pass the junction with the A57 to Worksop, then the junction with the A620 to Retford, then it’s about half a mile further on, and will be clearly marked. The actual turning is an estate road, rather than a ‘proper’ road, but it’s a good-sized turn-off. Coming from the north, you have to go down to the A620 junction and back up the northbound carriageway; again, this will be clearly signed.
Do not follow the post code as you approach the A1 near the event as it will send you to the normal entrance to the estate which will be closed.
Free admission to the horse trials which have something for everyone, including dressage, show jumping and cross country events plus trade stands, food outlets, dog show and evening entertainment bar and music.

Collingham offers pubs and a good fish and chip shop. Newark on Trent is only a short drive away which offers a bit of retail therapy and pubs and restaurants in abundance.
A bus stop to Newark is a short stroll from the site.
