A great chance to meet up with friends after the Christmas and New Year festivities have died down.
This will be largely a free and easy rally but the marshals will be providing hot soup and crusty bread on Friday evening plus tea/coffee and biscuits at flag on Sunday.
This is a lovely site with lakes and lots of options for walking and at the end of your walk, you can purchase a hot chocolate/coffee etc. from the little shop/cafe on site. There is a lovely pub a short distance away from the site that serves excellent food - The Dog and Duck at Clipstone. Booking advisable.
Each pitch comes with EHU included in the rally fee so you can keep yourselves nice and warm! This is a limited rally, so early booking is advised.

Foxton Locks is home to Britain’s longest set of staircase locks, an historic canal marvel, offering picturesque landscapes, canal heritage, boat trips, and a glimpse into 19th – Century engineering brilliance. Enjoy the peaceful countryside surroundings as you watch canal boats pass through 10 locks up a steep hill.
We have an event Marquee on site where we will be doing a Crazy Quiz on Friday night, followed by a Big Pan Chilli Social on Saturday night and fun and games on Sunday afternoon followed by Big Screen Wacky Races on Saturday night.

Lowdhams also have an accessory shop, stocking most of the equipment you would ever need for your Leisure Vehicle.
You could treat yourself to a tasty lunch or indulge in tea & cake in ‘Beanies’, the on site cafe
Take a 5 minute stroll from the site across the road to Gunthorpe Village. Here you’ll find the dog friendly Unicorn Pub, Tom Browns Brasserie for that extra special meal out, or the Bridge and Bayleaf if a curry takes your fancy.
Walk a little further down the riverside and you’ll see Gunthorpe lock and its lovely Tea Shop.
For those up for a good walk with or without your dog (or enjoy cycling) there are miles of footpaths and Bridleways - all from site!
The (Blue Diamond) East Bridgford Garden Centre is only 2 miles away. It’s large and varied with some other retail units alongside. Ed’s Playbarn is fantastic for young children
There’s a railway station 2 miles away in Lowdham. From here, you can access Nottingham, Newark or Lincoln if you fancy venturing further afield other than by car.
Southwell Minster is about 10 miles away

Welcome to this new site for the Nottinghamshire centre at the beautiful village of Bourton on the Water.
The rally will open on Thursday at 10am and you are welcome to stay 3 or 4 nights leaving on Monday. The cost for 3 nights is £75.00 (Friday to Monday) with an extra night available on the Thursday at £24.00.
Bourton-on-the-Water is a village in the rural Cotswolds area of south central England. Straddling the River Windrush, it’s known for its low bridges and traditional stone houses. There is plenty to do in the nearby area including, The Cotswold Motoring Museum features vintage cars and a toy collection. Birdland is home to species including parrots, owls and king penguins, plus life-size model dinosaurs. The Model Village is a 1930s scale replica of the village. Last but not least the famous Hawkstone Brewery is nearby too.
This is a free and easy rally so turn up, legs down and enjoy what the Cotswolds have to offer.

Rally Programme:
Join us at this new venue for the Nottinghamshire Centre. This is a great little site next door to Elvaston Castle and on the canal path to Long Eaton and Derby (ideal for walkers and cyclists). Borrowash is only half a mile away with shops and a highly recommended indian restaurant, the Bay of Bengal. The site has a dedicated dog walking area as well as a toilet block (no showers). This is a limited rally, so please book early to secure a pitch.
The marshals are planning a 60s / 70s music night and possibly a game of music bingo during the weekend.

Join us at the Osberton Horse & Carriage Driving Trials on the glorious Osberton Estate, between Worksop & Retford in north Nottinghamshire. Includes full daytime programme & free evening entertainment. 3 days free access to the Horse Trials and evening entertainment programme included in the rally fee (tbc). World class eventing, dressage, showjumping, carriage driving & Pony Club competitions. Numerous trade stands, activities, eateries, coffee stops and bars. Nearby attractions include Clumber Park, Sherwood Forest, Sherwood Pines (Go Ape) and Thoresby Park, Courtyard and military museum. The rally fee will be for 2 nights (Friday and Saturday). An extra night can be booked for Thursday 3rd October for an additional fee. Prices have yet to be confirmed, however, we are expecting it to be around the same cost as for the 2024 rally.
