COVID Guidance

This guidance is designed to help our members and others keep safe and well whilst attending a rally, and to ensure rallies are operated in line with Covid-Secure protocols based on advice from the Government and the CAMC as appropriate.

Pre-arrival at a rally

• It’s important that we have your latest contact and car details so if you have changed your vehicle or mobile telephone number since booking then please email or call the Rally Marshal with your updated information.
• Outfits will be spaced with marking pegs not less than 12m apart which means after parking your outfit and car within this area you will have a minimum of 6 metres between your neighbour.
• If you are clinically extremely vulnerable then please familiarise yourself with this guidance and ensure you are comfortable attending the rally with the measures that have been put in place.

Travelling to the rally

• If possible, when travelling to the rally avoid busy transport hubs such as motorway services – toilets, food service areas and petrol pumps – to reduce the risk of contamination.

Payment for a rally

• All our rallies are now prepaid by bank transfer prior to attending the rally, bank details will be provided by the Rally Marshall. This reduces the risk of contamination and the need for large amounts of cash kept in caravans over the weekend.
• Only by prior agreement with the rally marshal can a cash payment be made.

Whilst on the rally

• Please familiarise yourself with the Covid Caution sign on arrival outside the marshals van
• If a family member or friend visits you then you are responsible for ensuring that they adhere to this guidance
• Sports and games strictly in accordance with Centre regulations only.
• Please adhere to the 2m distancing signs at the fresh water and Elsan points or avoid queuing by waiting clear of the service point until it is free or come back later.
• There will be hand sanitiser at the water and Elsan points, every member is responsible for cleaning service points before and after use.
• All refuse is to be taken home for disposal.
• The Rally Marshal is not expected to have to police members attending a rally to ensure that they are complying with guidance and rules. Any allegations of misbehaviour on the rally field will be treated seriously and could lead to sanctions.
• Ultimately everyone attending a rally has a responsibility to be mindful and considerate to others present particularly by following any procedures, practices and Government guidelines in place. The rules and guidance are for everyone’s safety.

Unwell on a rally?

• If you begin to feel unwell (with suspected Covid symptoms), please follow the guidance below.
• Self isolate in your caravan with any family members until advice has been sought.
• Go online to NHS 111 or call 111 if you are unable to get on line, call 999 if you have a serious or life-threatening emergency.
• Please inform the rally marshal by phone so that further advice can be given and the incident can be recorded.
